The Franco-American Centre is looking for upbeat and eager teachers for upcoming semesters for our FAC programs in the following subject areas: French for Adults, French for Children & French Culture & Heritage – Varied Topics.
New Opportunity
After-School French Program Teachers – Belmont/Lakes Region & Greater Manchester
The Franco-American Centre will be offering in-person weekly French classes for elementary-aged students in certain communities during the 23-24 academic year.
Like our virtual children’s class options, the after-school program will offer French classes at an introductory or enrichment level. Focus is on sharing vocabulary and creating a love of language learning in an environment that promotes NH’s French heritage with curiosity and excitement.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching children
Fluency in French sufficient for target language level
Energy and Enthusiasm for sharing French language and culture with others
Current or previous teacher certification preferred

FAC Classes
French for Adults
Classes are offered at Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Levels
Qualifications:
Experience teaching adults
Fluency in French sufficient for target language level
Energy and Enthusiasm for sharing French language and culture with others
Current or previous teacher certification preferred
French for Children
French classes are offered for elementary-aged youth at an introductory or enrichment level. Focus is on sharing vocabulary and creating a love of language learning in an environment that promotes curiosity and excitement.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching children
Fluency in French sufficient for target language level
Energy and Enthusiasm for sharing French language and culture with others
Current or previous teacher certification preferred
French Culture & Heritage – Varied Topics
(English or French)
Periodically, the FAC offers classes and workshops on special topics relating to French. This can include a wide range of subject matter, and the FAC encourages subjects that drive the class to explore their curiosity and celebrate the various ways French culture and heritage is prevalent and exciting in our world.
Qualifications:
Experience in the subject matter
Energy and Enthusiasm for sharing French culture with others
