Language is about action, and effective French speakers have a strong command of verbs. This engaging five-week mini-course is designed to strengthen your understanding of French grammar through the study and application of verbs across a variety of tenses, moods, and real-world contexts.

Whether your goal is to master the past tenses or to refresh and refine your skills, this course will help build greater confidence and accuracy in communication.

Participants will explore the structure and function of French verbs while practicing practical usage through guided exercises, discussion, and contextual application. Topics include verb modes and tenses, conditional and “if” clauses, past participles, and the present subjunctive. Students will strengthen their ability to recognize, conjugate, and correctly apply verbs in the present, past, future, and conditional tenses.
